Case Study : Michael Smith Systems
A new brochure was designed to let Gee customers know all about MSS, and we took our visual cues from that brochure. A fair amount of information needed to be presented, and whilst the information is relevant and well written, it's not all that exciting to read - the presentation needed to draw the viewer in to the site, and to highlight what was most important. The main constraint placed upon us was to produce a site which closely mirrored the brochure, so that it was instantly obvious that one was connected to the other. We achieved this to the great satisfaction of the client - which was pleasing to us, as printed documents don't always translate to well in to websites. Michael Smith Systems recently became a division of Gee & Co, based in Birmingham. Because of this, they needed a new website - their old site, whilst functional, did not match so well with the corporate image Gee wanted to present.
